Tuba Meinl Weston 2145 in C

Compact tuba with great sound projection. It is tuned in C and has four pistons plus a thumb valve. All valves move smoothly and freely; although the instrument is no longer in regular use, we apply oil periodically to keep the valves in excellent condition. This tuba is known for its remarkable power and projection, despite its compact appearance. It has a copper finish with silver details. Some spots can be seen on the copper, but these are purely cosmetic—the instrument is in perfect playing condition. The copper finish is not as visually striking as a gold finish, but it is far more durable over time and in varying climates, and it requires significantly less aesthetic maintenance. We are including photos of its appearance when it had a gold finish, in case you ever wish to change the finish in the future. The tuba comes with a free blue carrying case and a silver-plated mouthpiece, both visible in the photos. The mouthpiece is practically brand new, and the case has all straps in perfect condition, making it ideal for transporting the tuba comfortably over short or long distances. The tuba is currently in Spain, we can ship it to your address, (delivery price not included), or bring it to London for free. If you choose picking it up in London, it may take a month or more, since I'm depending on family to bring it there. For the same reason, the tuba cannot be tried unless you happen to be in Valencia, Spain, since we can't risk shipping it to England without selling it first.
