The Castagnari Mignon is famous for being one of the smallest diatonic accordions in the world (weighing just 600 grams and measuring only 14 x 8.5 cm). The Castagnari company from Recanati, founded in 1914, began producing this type of micro-organ pressed around the mid-20th century to showcase its artisanal excellence, managing to pack real mechanics (8 keys at the edge and 2 bass) into microscopic dimensions.
