2. What type of data do we process?

At Sounds Market, we will only request the data that are essential for the management of the use of our platform and/or services. We will never ask you for data that we do not need. These data are:

Identification and financial data: name, surname, postal address, email address, telephone number, account number (in those cases where you use our secure payment method), IP address and image and Tax ID in those cases in which you access our platform as a professional user.

In some cases, and in order to provide you with a better service, we may request your location data.

As a user of our services, you assume responsibility for providing us with true and accurate data. Our services are intended for adults with full legal capacity, and in no case for minors under 14 years of age.


3. What happens if you do not provide us with your data?

Since we mainly process data that are necessary, if you do not provide them, we will not be able to register you as a user of our platform or provide you with the requested services. Sounds Market will not disclose your data to third parties, except when necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were requested, such as transport companies when we directly manage shipments. In the case of purchases of items from “Company”-type users (described in section 7.4. of our Terms of Use and Contracting Conditions), we will also disclose to such entity the data necessary for the management of the order and the shipment of the item. In all these cases, Sounds Market will carry out any control actions it deems appropriate to ensure the security and confidentiality of your data. However, we remind you that, as specified in the General Terms, our Platform uses the services of various financial service providers to manage the payment of certain services, as explained therein. 8. What are my rights regarding my personal data?

At any time you may contact Sounds Market to exercise your rights or make any inquiries regarding our privacy policy, as indicated in section 1 of this policy. In summary, you may:

  • Access your personal data; at any time you can check whether we are processing your data and which ones.
  • Request the rectification of inaccurate data.
  • Request the erasure of your personal data under the circumstances provided for by law.
  • Request the restriction of the processing of your personal data; in this case we will only retain them for the exercise or defense of possible claims.

At Sounds Market, we process data at all times in a strictly confidential manner and maintain the required duty of secrecy regarding them, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679, and in particular Article 32 thereof, adopting for this purpose the necessary technical and organizational measures to guarantee the security of your data and prevent their alteration, loss, processing, or unauthorized access, taking into account the state of technology, the nature of the stored data, and the risks to which they are exposed.

In particular, the relevant and mandatory security measures have been adopted regarding:

Functions and obligations of personnel, event logging, management of media and documents, access control, identification and authentication, backup and recovery.
