Kawai KG-6C – 225 cm – 1978 – matricola 1014590P

For sale Kawai KG-6C from 1978, serial number 1014590P, length 225 cm, glossy black finish. Large Kawai grand piano, with bright, warm and powerful sound, suitable for advanced piano study, professional activity and performance contexts. The instrument has a particular history: initially it was used by a company specializing in the rental of pianos for classical music concerts, with use approximately twice a month. It was subsequently purchased for private use and used regularly for many years for piano practice. The piano has been my personal instrument for an important part of my musical life; I graduated in piano. I am selling it reluctantly because today I no longer have the space necessary to accommodate a piano of this size. It has been used less frequently in recent years, but is in working order, recently tuned and holds tune well. The keyboard retains the original ivory keys of the time. The piano is currently stored in a large tavern of the house, a non-humid environment that is heated during the winter. On the left side of the crate there are two wooden elements added by the previous rental company to facilitate transport operations. They are barely visible when the piano is positioned with its left side against the wall. Considering the limited use in recent years, an adjustment and overhaul of the mechanics can be carried out by the new owner according to his needs. The piano can be viewed and tried by appointment. Price: €9,000 negotiable after seeing and trying the instrument, Preference for buyers truly interested in an instrument of this size and characteristics. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I can possibly provide references to transporters specialized in pianos.
