The Sparrow MKII ADC ensures optimal conversion, utilizing Black Lion Audio's custom technology to ensure supreme signal integrity. The 4 input stage presets and single amplifier are designed to deliver simplicity and purity in the signal path. The white version of the Sparrow mk2 (white faceplate) represents a portion of Black Lion Audio's research into delta sigma conversion and timing architecture. For one, rather than using one converter for stereo conversion, it employs TWO converters in a parallel balanced circuit to dramatically increase the converter's dynamic range. Add this to the unique approach to converter configuration, our 220/270SP master clock with wide Q third harmonic crystal oscillators, advanced PLL recovery, and a low noise analog path, and all of these elements together will produce the richest, clearest, fullest sound.
