They are envied and copied by other manufacturers, but no matter how hard they have tried, no one has come close to matching them. Some have even gone so far as to put facsimile labels of well-known French and Italian manufacturers on the instruments and sell them at greatly inflated prices. We have provided our luthiers with excellent knowledge of ancient Italian and French so that they can study it while they work.
