It offers a very low signal-to-noise ratio and a wide input tolerance for a clean and quiet result with all types of signals. A Compressor/Sustain switch allows it to be used as a classic compressor or as a sustainer. In Sustain mode it is very dynamic, responds very well to touch and of course offers a lot of sustain. It does not lose any attack and is ideal for blues players and perfect for slide playing. In Compressor mode, the Level setting acts on the overall volume and allows the use of the pedal as a booster. In Sustain mode, this setting no longer acts on the volume but on the sustain level. The Compr. setting determines the compression and sustain. At low level, it acts on the peaks; at high level, the touch response is softer. At maximum level, the output is very compressed but maintains clarity and almost infinite sustain.
