Vintage Alto Saxophone A.DOUCHET/ René Guénot. (years
I bought it in the UK last year and took it to the best vintage sax luthier in the country at Sax.Co.UK and it was like new, the sax now sounds and works perfectly: Springs, pads, corks... all new. According to experts, it is an alto from the 1920s, built in Paris by a manufacturer that made saxophones for the best students at the city's conservatory, including Marcel Mule. Saxophones from that era often have tuning issues, however this sax is in the 440 range, not a brilliant tuning sax despite its size. If you want to get started on vintage saxes, this option is highly recommended without breaking the bank. I'm selling it because the saxes don't fit at home... it includes a case. You can try it (in Madrid) or I can send a video playing it myself, checking the tuning note by note throughout the entire range of the instrument. Changes are not allowed.
