Casio MG-510 MIDI Guitar, with hard case
Guitar manufactured by Casio in 1987 in collaboration with Fender. Some features of the Casio MG-510 include: 1. MIDI connection to control synthesizers and other electronic devices. 2. Hexaphonic pickup system that allows individual tracking of each string for improved accuracy. 3. Volume and tone controls. 4. Possibility of splitting the neck for easy transport. 5. Ergonomic and lightweight design. Solid body electric guitar, from 1987, American style with maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets; 1 double coil, 2 single coils and MIDI with 5-pin output; controls for all functions and built-in tuner! One of the first guitars with MIDI implementation and built by Fuji Gen Gakki itself (Roland, Ibanez, Yamaha, Greco, etc...) in its Japanese factory, under contract with Casio.
