Jolana tornado Red 1963
JOLANA's most legendary semi-acoustic, launched into production in 1963. The body is made of maple plywood, based on GIBSON ES-335, painted in "royal purple". The maple neck with an ebony overlay is attached to the deck using the four screws that pass through the metal plate. The measurement of the instrument is 630 mm. The unfastened metal bridge with the possibility of adjusting the height of the strings and tuning. The tremolo, combined with the tailpiece, is a fairly successful variation of the Bigsby and works in both directions. The guitar's schematic diagram is quite sophisticated: three individual pickups control five knobs and four potentiometers! The top left key switch allows you to select one of two modes of circuit operation. When a key is pressed, only the center pickup sounds. In the second position the center pickup is deactivated, but the neck and bridge pickups start to work. Volume regulated by their respective potentiometers at the bottom right. The remaining two keys are responsible, respectively, for turning on the LF and HF filters. In fact, the entire system is a development of a two-channel scheme as in the FENDER Jaguar. Therefore, you can quickly get almost any sound, with only one "but" - it will clearly be an old-school sound. International shipping is made, costs not included with the item.
