Ovation Deacon 1973 - Red

One of the most iconic electric guitars produced by Ovation, an active electronics pioneer, which guarantees a wide tonal range: the FET preamplifier powered by two 9V batteries transforms tone control into a sort of parametric equalizer, and together with the volume also active it allows you to simulate the item of different tools, from the classic tones of the single coil type to the powerful humbuckers of Gibson school. Mooganian body and handle, ebony keyboard with mother of pearl inlays, metal mechanics sealed with stamp distge stylized Bowlback. It is a solid but not heavy guitar (just under 4 kg), with a nice handle and a great playability. Circuit and setup recently controlled by a professional luthier!
