Yes. Although discontinued, the Pioneer DJM-2000 Nexus remains a very complete four-channel professional mixer. It features an integrated USB audio interface, Pro DJ Link with Rekordbox, a multi-touch panel for controlling creative functions, and excellent sound quality, making it a very attractive option on the used market.

The Pioneer DJM-2000 Nexus features a 5.8-inch multi-touch panel dedicated to controlling effects and creative functions. It allows for intuitive use of tools like Beat Slice, Frequency Mix, Sidechain Remix, and Live Sampler, offering possibilities that remain unique within the DJM range.

Yes. The DJM-2000 Nexus features a 4-channel USB audio interface compatible with Rekordbox and DVS systems. Furthermore, thanks to Pro DJ Link, it can share information with compatible Pioneer DJ players and take advantage of advanced features such as Quantized Beat FX and Beat Slice.

The DJM-2000 Nexus stands out for combining a professional 4-channel mixer with a dedicated multi-touch effects panel, advanced creative functions, and superior Pro DJ Link integration compared to previous generations. It is one of the most innovative models Pioneer DJ has ever developed.

It's advisable to check the functionality of the multi-touch panel, faders (especially the MAGVEL Crossfader), EQ and effects knobs, CUE buttons, and all audio inputs and outputs, including the headphone output. We also recommend verifying that the USB audio interface and Pro DJ Link connection are working correctly.

The Pioneer DJM-2000 Nexus retains the architecture and core functions of the DJM-2000, but significantly improves its integration with rekordbox and PRO DJ LINK. It incorporates Sync Master, which allows the mixer to be used as a BPM reference for synchronizing compatible players, as well as Quantize, which leverages rekordbox's beat grid information for effects. It also offers more comprehensive integration with rekordbox LINK Export and displays information related to LINK, SYNC, and MASTER on-screen.

Another key difference is Beat Slice Remix, which allows you to divide a section of a track into 4 or 8 beats and rearrange them using the touchscreen. The original DJM-2000 retains many of the Nexus's mixing and effects features, including Frequency Remix, Sidechain Remix, and PRO DJ LINK, but lacks these advanced synchronization and integration capabilities. If you're looking for tighter integration between mixer, rekordbox and compatible Pioneer DJ players, the DJM-2000 Nexus offers additional features compared to the original DJM-2000.

The Pioneer DJM-2000 Nexus stands out for its 6.5"" touchscreen, which allows for more visual control of functions like Beat Slice and effects management. Its Beat FX can be applied independently to the high, mid, or low frequency bands, while PRO DJ LINK allows integration with rekordbox and compatible players to use features like Quantize and synchronization. It also has six LAN connections, facilitating direct connection of multiple devices.

The DJM-900 Nexus has a more traditional design and concentrates creative control on its X-PAD, along with 13 Beat FX and six Sound Color FX. It also offers Quantize with rekordbox information, a USB audio interface, and PRO DJ LINK, although it only has one LAN connection and requires a hub to connect multiple devices. In short, the DJM-2000 Nexus offers more possibilities for direct manipulation and creative mixing, while the DJM-900 Nexus opts for a more conventional format with a very complete effects section.
